Setup and Use

Setup

  • Extend the UPSP’s legs
  • Attach the main bar onto UPSP head above the ball joint
  • Choose setup direction for right or left handed operation (joint release lever on the right of the rifle for left-handed shooting, on the left for right-handed shooting) (see pictures C)
  • If required, secure the legs with a strap to prevent collapse on no-grip surfaces (see picture B)
  • Ensure that the UPSP’s head platform is as level as possible
  • Set the rifle onto the two supports on the main bar
  • Make sure one leg of the UPSP is set in the direction in which the rifle’s barrel points

Rifle positioning (see picture A):

  • The rifle’s pistol grip should be over the ball joint
  • The front support should be under the rifle’s front grip
  • There should be a +/- 10mm (7/16”) gap between the rifle and the main bar
  • The rifle’s barrel should be parallel to the main bar

UPSP Use

  • Adjust the UPSP’s legs as needed (ensure stability with a strap if required – see picture B)
  • Use the ball joint release lever to loosen the ball point and bring the rifle into the desired position
    (see picture D)
  • Stabilize yourself by leaning into the UPSP (see pictures E/F/G/H)

Portability

The UPSP can also be easily carried/relocated when fully assembled for shooting (see pictures I/K/L)
